Rastrick JFC won the Junior
Sports Club of the Year award at the Halifax Courier Sports Awards Ceremony
2011 at The Victoria Theatre, Halifax.
Club Chairman Jeremy Meadowcroft said: "We were in raptures at being
nominated, let alone winning & it's tremendous that we, as a junior Football
Club, receive this prestigous recognition.
"I would like to Thank the Clubs ever dedicated Committee, all age-group
coaches, all 300+ players, all volunteers, our sponsors & people who provide
products or services for us.
"This is a tremendous accolade for our club and fantastic recognition for
the hard work put in by the many volunteers involved. And in this our
20th Anniversary Year !" |
