Most people only bother to contact the league when
something goes wrong so, it's nice when we receive a report about something
that went right ! |

|
|
|
|
Referee John Field (pictured above) kindly took the time to
send the following report |

|
"I was appointed
to referee the u17 Hall Green Utd v BPA Juniors Div 1 game by the Referee
Appointments Secretary and would just like to say what a pleasure it was to
officiate this fixture within the league. |
|
|
|
|
|
I was greeted
with the offer of a cup of tea from the home side before the game, paid
before the game and was even called sir when approached by several of the
players during the game !!! |
|
|
|
|
|
The match itself
was a very competitive game of football with BPA just squeezing a 2-3 win.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Two great teams
on the day which played out a very fair, competitive and entertaining game
of football and both teams are a credit to their coaches and more
importantly to the league. |
|
|
|
|
|
It was great to
be involved with this fixture today and I feel that both clubs deserve
praise from the league officials for their conduct." |
