RCD League Gets SKY Treatment |
The RCD League featured on TV
in November when the Sky Sports News team arrived at Warley's Saville Park
ground to record the Warley Rangers v Howden Clough u12 game. |
The purpose of their visit was to
see if Howden Clough could match Huddersfield Town's record of 43 games
unbeaten. |
Clough won every game last season
on their way to a League and Cup double but, having been held to 2 draws
already, life hasn't been quite so easy this time around.
Nevertheless, bottom club, Warley, were not expected to give them too much
trouble as they went in search of a 40th game without defeat. |
But Warley weren't about to be
the fall guys in front of the cameras and Clough had to wait until deep into
the second half before they could add another victory to their unbeaten run. |

The game ended 0-3 to Howden
Clough and the victors were more than happy to give a series of post match
interviews for the TV crew |
