IMPORTANT NOTES FOR TEAM MANAGERS |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
| HOLIDAYS,
RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS, SCHOOL TRIPS |
|
| Over the last few
years the number of requests for postponements due to school
trips and religious festivals has increased considerably. |
| |
| Breaks for Christmas
and Easter are now considered normal, whereas, ten years ago
these dates were part of the fixture programme. |
| More recently, School
Trips and Ramadan have also entered into the football calendar
with the effect that some teams may “lose” up to 7 weeks out
of an average 32 week season due to holiday/religious breaks. |
| |
| The effect of these
extra breaks is that many teams end the season with a backlog of
fixtures and, with this mind, the league now intends to issue
fixtures for ALL dates during the season. |
| It is very important,
therefore, to ensure that all team managers are informed of the
following… |
|
Any
team wishing to postpone a game for |
|
Christmas
(30 Dec),
Easter (23 Mar) or School Trips
|
|
MUST
GIVE 28 DAYS NOTICE, IN WRITING,
|
| to
the League Secretary. |
| |
| Any team failing to
apply for a postponement must fulfill all fixtures as per league
rules. |
| |
| Please Note that this
only applies to Ramadan, Christmas, Easter and School Trips. |
|
All other fixtures must be
fulfilled as per fixture list.
