WHAT IS CHARTER STANDARD

Charter Standard is a Football Association initiative aimed at improving standards within football clubs, both on and off the pitch.

The following areas of the game are covered by the scheme...

Club Administration, Child Protection, Coaching, Fair Play, Codes of Conduct

WHY DO WE NEED IT ?

Junior football at its best is two teams enjoying healthy recreation.
However, as with most things, there is a dark side.

Poor Behaviour on the touchline
Poor Health and Safety
Inadequate Supervision
Poor Coaching

Unpleasant they may be but as responsible adults we are the guardians of these children and must be prepared to put in a little time and effort to ensure their well being.
