all member clubs voted unanimously that the following be introduced
into the League Rules... |

| CONDITIONS
OF LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP |
| All clubs must attain Charter
Standard status before the start of the 2007-08 season with the
following exceptions... |
| NEW
CLUBS |
| Any new club can join the
league and play for one season without the need to attain Charter
Standard status. |
| New clubs wishing to continue
membership of the league must prove their commitment to Charter
Standard upon applying to enter the league for a second season. |
| New clubs must have achieved
Charter Standard before applying for a third season's membership. |
| |
| The list on the right of this
page shows a list of member clubs at the start of season 2007-08 |

| 74 have now attained Charter
Standard status |

| 3 more are awaiting

Standard is a Football Association initiative aimed at improving
standards within football clubs, both on and off the pitch. |

WHY DO WE NEED IT ?

Junior football at its best is two teams
enjoying healthy recreation.

However, as with most things, there is a dark
side.

Poor Behaviour on the touchline
|
|
Poor Health and Safety
|
|
Inadequate Supervision
|
|
Poor Coaching
|
|
|
|
Unpleasant they may be but as responsible
adults we are the guardians of these children and must be prepared
to put in a little time and effort to ensure their well being.
